The course will be taught by Charlotte Law, Sing Up's Learning Executive.

Having gained a Degree in Arts Education, she has built up a wide range of experience as a workshop facilitator, freelance arts animateur, trainer, Primary school teacher and music coordinator.

She is also an enthusiastic participant in a wide range of activities throughout the arts.

North-East England

Create engaging music lessons with this practical training session from Sing Up. You will gain ideas for planning and organising lessons, learn adaptable techniques and approaches and try out songs and games that you can incorporate into your music lessons straight away.

This course and approach is suitable for anyone who is new to, lacks confidence in or wants a refresher in delivering music-making activities with pupils aged five to seven.

Training outcomes for teachers: 

  • Explore creative techniques and approaches using games, props and movement
  • Learn ways to use voices and instruments creatively
  • Gain ideas for planning and organising lessons
  • Develop your confidence in delivering music-making activities
  • Gain new ideas and inspiration
