Rhythmix, Queens Road, Brighton, United Kingdom
Rhythmix is a music and social welfare charity transforming lives through music of some of the most vulnerable people in the South East of England.
We are an award winning charity; National Lottery Award finalist 2016, winner of the Creative and Cultural Skills Award for Music 2017 and Charity Award 2017 finalist.
We work with vulnerable people across the South-East including children and young people (in care, with disabilities, with mental health problems, in areas of deprivation, struggling with mainstream education and in healthcare settings) and older people with dementia.
Rhythmix seeks to foster and celebrate excellence through high-quality music and music-making that develops creativity, resilience and personal skills. We provide a year round programme that covers a breadth of music making activity. We support artists and participants to achieve their creative potential, encouraging self-esteem, enhancing life chances and enriching lives.
These are voluntary positions.
If you would like further information or are interested in putting yourself forward as a potential Rhythmix trustee we invite you to contact Tony Biggin, Chair of Trustees, for an initial exploratory conversation at email@example.com.
